Okay, in today's short video, I'm going to be going through how you can claim back your Electric Vehicle Charger grant through the SEAI. What I've got open here is the letter of offer email you'll find in your inbox. So here, how to claim your grant, illustrates three simple steps. The first is to install the charger, which should of course be complete at this point. The second is suggesting forwarding the email to the electrician, and this is the installation details form. I'm gonna click this open now, but, I don't recommend you send this ahead of the installation. I recommend you have it open for completion on the day of the installation. It's much simpler.
I'm scrolling through here now and you can see it's all information, specifically for the electrician or the registered electrical contractor for the installation, information about their business and about themselves.
Then you can select the charger itself, the manufacturer, myenergi as it's the only product we sell, and I've picked here the seven TB Zappi, which is seven kilowatts tethered black.
Scrolling through more, you can see the electrician will put in the breakdown of the costs, other information, yes and no answers, you know, just specific to your house and your installation itself. Then make sure you get the electrician to sign it and submit the form.
Then the third step is something you do yourself and this is the payment request form. And here you can put in information about your bank, a breakdown of the total cost incurred, the charger cost, and the installation cost in case you bought them separately.
And here we have some attachments that are required. So I'm gonna start off with the test record sheet. And here you can see pretty self-explanatory, up the top in red writing test record sheet. And this will have been given to you by the electrician after the installation.
Next, I'm gonna jump onto the cert three form. Again, something that will have been issued by the electrician. And this is one that people often ask us about, a bit confusing. It doesn't actually say cert three quite clearly on the form but that is what it looks like. Next a picture of the installed charger so we'll go back to the installation here now. And we've got a clear picture of the charger beside the isolator switch. And last you've got invoices, for the charger and the installation itself. Sign it off and submit it.
